Watford Women's last league match of the season has been moved watfordfc
The Golden Girls had been due to travel to Billericay Town this Sunday in their last fixture of the FA Women’s National League Southern Premier Division campaign following the top-of-the-table clash with Oxford United at Vicarage Road on Thursday night.
However, the leaders, who are one point ahead of the Hornets, still have two matches to play, meaning their trip to third-placed Ipswich Town has been rearranged for Sunday, May 7. To ensure neither side has the advantage of knowing how Watford’s season has ended, the Golden Girls’ trip to Essex has also been moved to May 7.
The winner of the league will face the top team in the Northern Premier Division in a Championship play-off at Stadium MK on May 20.
