Gogglebox star Daniel Lustig-Webb was "drenched" after falling into the sea as he scrambled to save his dog.
Daniel and his husband Stephen, who are both hairdressers, own three poodles named Babs, Princess and Betsy. They were out and about in their hometown of Brighton this weekend when Betsy wandered into the water to play with some rope beneath the surface. Stephen laughed as he filmed an unimpressed Daniel, who was wringing out his sopping wet clothes on the grass.In the video, which was shared on Instagram, Stephen said: "How are you feeling after your dip?" and Dan replied: "Drenched". Stephen then told his many followers: "Dan just went in to get Betsy because she was hanging onto that piece of string again ... and he fell in", before erupting into laughter.
Fellow Gogglebox star Amira Rota commented: "Nahhh I'm dying" [sic], and fans of the show have also been quick to have their say. Rebecca said: "Nearly as bad as when Tom got knocked off the sofa by Dave", while Tracey said: "Oh Betsy!" Instagram Sharon said: "shame you didn't video it lol" and Martyn said: "Hilarious".
