Julie, Tom Sr and the rest of the family said they were devastated
The family, known for sharing the sofa with their Rottweilers, have been on the Channel 4 show since 2014. Julie Malone shared the tragic news on X, formerly Twitter, on Wednesday.
She said: "There are no words to describe the pain we are feeling or how much we loved you Dave xx RIP XX You helped everyone see the true lovable nature of Rotties. Fans have rushed to support the popular Gogglebox stars. Replying to the post, Tracey said: "I’m so sorry. We recently lost our Romanian rescue boy Shadow. He was 13 and with us for 10 of those. The pain of losing a much loved woofa is heartbreaking, sending hugs to all" . Ann said: "I’m so sorry guys, sending love to you" and Steph said: "So sorry to hear this, Dave was and always will be a #Gogglebox legend". Matthew said: "Loved watching Dave on Gogglebox, seemed like a proper character. Thoughts with you all xx"
