Good Morning Britain star Kate Garraway has cheekily called out Ben Shephard after gushing over a 'rival' ITV star. The pair were back fronting the ITV news programme on Friday after Ben originally returned to the helm on Thursday after spending the first half of his week on This Morning.
During his first stint back on GMB with Susanna Reid, she told Ben: "You are on the wrong show!" He replied: "I have been moonlighting next door," to which Susanna quipped: "I feel like you've been cheating!" Ben burst out laughing as she added: "I saw you with another woman!" And Ben's co-stars were clearly still thinking about his This Morning stint while back on GMB for the last show of the week. "You’re standing, Charlotte, where I was yesterday, listening to Ben waft away about the joys of This Morning," Kate said to co-star Charlotte Hawkins who was reading the latest news headlines.
After Ben said: "Not only do they look after you wonderfully, but we get fed. The chefs cook amazing food throughout the show," causing Kate to pull a face. However, Kate responded: "So I felt a little bit like when the kids go round to someone’s house and say ‘Oh Sophie’s mum makes an amazing bolognese!'
