And in illustrating this, a video of her laptop was shown – where Joy was writing the lyrics: ‘Words spit & spill, knit a f*****g daffodil.’ ‘Has the kid that does the editing gone back to school now?’ another joked as they shared the clip containing the explicit word. In her GMB interview, Joy admitted she wasn’t initially a fan of rap but decided to ‘challenge herself’ and to ‘challenge people’s perceptions of women who tend to go a bit invisible.’‘I’ve now become part of the scene,’ she smiled.
