Glastonbury festival organiser Emily Eavis has given an update on when the 2024 line-up will be released
Now the festival's organiser, Emily Eavis has weighed in and has given away a hint at which artists might make the line-up. While attending a Women In Music event at the University of Oxford last week, she reportedly revealed that the line-up would be released this week.
“And actually we did have a female, she pulled out and we replaced them with Guns on the Saturday… But everyone who knows, knows that it’s top of my list. I’m always trying to make it the most balanced, diverse bill. In 2022, Billie Eilish was announced as a headliner a whopping eight months before the festival, in October 2021. According to reports, this is the longest Glastonbury ticket holders have waited for a confirmed artist since 2007, when The Killers were announced in late February. The longest wait occurred in 2002, when the full line-up revealed all at once just 10 days before the festival on June 19.
