After two months of closure The Sir John Moore Pub in Glasgow city centre is soon to reopen following a major expansion and refurbishment work costing £1.4 million.
The Sir John Moore pub on Argyle Street in the city centre will reopen on Friday, October 6, after two months of closure. The company splashed out on an extensive expansion, redevelopment and refurbishment work, costing over £1.4 million.
The work first started at the beginning of August and has taken two months to complete. The overall new design "retains and enhances" the area around the bar, as well as creating a new customer area, offering a more "intimate" space for dining and drinks. Pub manager Ross Henderson said: “The Sir John Moore is extremely and this investment highlights Wetherspoon’s commitment to offering our customers the best possible pub.
