Glasgow Vodafone customers will be affected as they make room for 4G and 5G
Glasgow Vodafone customers will start to see their 3G network being switched off as part of a UK-wide shutdown.
All other providers, at present, have confirmed that they do not plan to offer 2G services beyond 2033. “3G use has already dropped significantly, as most of Vodafone’s customers now use the 4G network. Currently less than 4 per cent of data is used on our 3G network, in comparison to more than 30% in 2016.
