Volunteers for Glasgow Street Aid were 'devastated' when they discovered the main door and walls of their medical centre in the city centre had been vandalised overnight.
A Glasgow charity that provides medical help to homeless people has had its centre vandalised overnight.
Volunteers for Glasgow Street Aid were "devastated" when they discovered the main door and walls of their medical centre on Union Street had been covered in graffiti on Tuesday . They have now launched an appeal for help by donating to help repair the damage and reporting any information to Police Scotland.
A statement from the charity reads: "Our medical and welfare centres main door & walls were vandalized with graffiti overnight. We're devastated by this senseless act. Please help us recover by: Sharing this post to raise awareness. Reporting any information to Police Scotland. Donating or volunteering to repair damages. Supporting local businesses, including ours.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 2.20pm on Tuesday, 18 July, 2023, we received a report of vandalism to a premises in the Union Street area of Glasgow.
