TV chef Jimmy Lee is set to expand his Cantonese street food business, with a third permanent Salt & Chilli Scottish outlet in the south side.

Jimmy then opened a second Scottish outlet in Edinburgh’s St James Quarter, before launching a pop-up in Hamilton. In the last few months, the Glasgow-based chef has blown up on TikTok boasting over ten million views on his 60-second Cantonese cooking videos.For the new Southside spot, work is currently underway to renovate the McFly’s Chicken site. With both takeaway and sit-in options, the Kilmarnock Road outlet will have a capacity for up to 60 guests.
