“Glasgow proudly hosted a series of international events in 2022, including the Dynamic New Athletics indoor event, the Tissot UCI Track Nations Cup and the Davis Cup, once again demonstrating its credentials as a world-class sporting city. “As well as staging high-profile competitions, our city has harnessed the power of sport to bounce back from the effects of the pandemic.
"The last year has seen 2.8 million people use Glasgow’s sport venues and outdoor facilities, while a 21-strong network of Community Sports Hubs across the city provided opportunities for more than 12,000 people to get active.”
