Motorists are furious.
Glaswegians have shared their frustrations at the state of the roads across the city after many have had to spend hundreds of pounds to get their tyres fixed after going through catastrophic potholes.
"Dumbarton Road has been dug up repaired and replaced again with road fillings for the pot holes and it breaks down again within a week." John Buchanan has booked his vehicle in for a new tyre after it went through a pothole on Great Western Road.Stella Brown added: "Absolutely disgusting, I've had a puncture due to pothole last night."
I've had wheel bearings break, cv joints which I never new about and it ended up bursting through my gear box. I hit a huge one in the dark a few weeks ago and think my wheel bearings went again.A spokesman for Glasgow City Council said: “Potholes can appear at any time but environmental factors such as frost, snow and rain will have a significant impact on condition of the city’s roads.
