Applicant 'Float Glasgow Ltd' sought permission to open the"state-of-the-art" centre in a currently vacant unit in Morris Park, Rosyth Road.bosses approved the plans, with conditions that the unit is only used between 8am-8pm Monday to Sunday.A supporting statement within the planning documents read:"Using our specially designed Orbit float pods, we provide our customers with a sensory deprivation experience while they float effortlessly in a dense Epsom salt solution.

"This provides an environment for pure relaxation, providing rejuvenation and healing from injury - as well as relief from chronic pain." Proposals detailed operating four floatation pods across four private float rooms each with its own showering facility. The supporting statement went on to say:"The facility will generate employment and be managed by three staff working on rotation with one member being on call at any one time."
