He is in a serious condition
Great George Lane and Great George Street in the city's West End have been taped off by cops.He has been taken to hospital where he is said to be in a serious condition.A Police Spokesperson said:"Around 12.35am on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, police received a report a man had been assaulted during an altercation on Great George Street, Glasgow.
"Emergency services attended and a 63-year-old man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow where medical staff describe his condition as serious. "Enquiries are ongoing. Great George Lane and Great George Street are closed as officers conduct enquiries."
