Glasgow residents return to homes after 'hazardous material' found as cops remain on scene

Residents of a Glasgow street who were forced to evacuate after bomb disposal experts were called to investigate "potentially hazardous material" have been allowed to return to their homes.

Locals from the area were housed in Tollcross International Swimming Centre overnight following the evacuation. It is unclear what the nature of the hazardous material was but police have said it posed no risk to the wider public.
