Pollok Park has been crowned Scotland’s favourite picnic spot after a nationwide search by AldiTo celebrate Scotland’s natural beauty, Aldi invited its customers to vote for their favourite alfresco dining spot.

Hundreds of shoppers took to Aldi Scotland’s Facebook and Instagram pages to choose between Pollok Park in Glasgow, The Shore in Edinburgh, and Hazlehead Park in Aberdeen. Paul Dhaliwal, Assistant Store Manager of the Govan store, said: “Here at the Govan store, we firmly believe that there is no better place to crack open the picnic basket than in the stunning setting of Pollok Park and we’re delighted that the general public agree.
