What a lovely initiative❤️
Team members and children of Pied Piper Nursery in Shawlands have been going on sponsored walks in aid of the Scottish Cot Death Trust.
The organisation offers a range of support for those affected by a sudden unexpected death in infancy and providesStaff at the nursery were visited by the charity in September, in the early years of setting on Hector Road, to undertake integral training on safe sleeping. The current fundraising total stands close to £1500, with more donations due to come in across the week.Manager Carrie Lloyd said: “Our children have really stepped up to the challenge on behalf of such an important cause.
“They’ve been out walking within the local community, and we’ve even created our very own puddles at Nursery to splash in. “Our parents and families have been so generous in their fundraising, and to receive nearly £1500, with donations still flooding in, is incredible. I am so proud of our Nursery community and look forward to partnering with the Trust for future opportunities.”
