The rally was met with hundreds of firefighters demanding action after the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service announced cuts, with services across the country set to be impacted.
The Fire Brigades Union said"enough is enough" as it raised concerns against the latest savings made by theAs part of a £11million package of cuts, second or third appliances are being withdrawn from ten stations across Scotland from next month. There are also plans to remove the 24-hour permanently crewed rescue boat on the River Clyde.
"If the cuts to 200 jobs are not reversed then, as a committee, we will have no option but to recommend to our members that we begin preparations to ballot for industrial action.
