Following the conviction of Ali Zafar for dangerous driving today, the family of Derek Blackshaw have spoken of their grief at his loss and the toll his death has taken.
The family of a Glasgow dad killed after being hit by a learner driver in a Morrisons car park have spoken out on their, 'immeasurable pain' and 'aching hearts'.
Zafar pled guilty at the High Court in Glasgow on Thursday to causing death by dangerous driving. He was remanded in custody pending sentencing next month. "He was the very foundation that held us together - a shining example of a hardworking and devoted family man. His towering presence, both physically and in his character, made him adored and respected by all who knew him.
