Rescue dog Simba was lauded for his loyalty to his family as he sat outside the the Beatson Cancer Centre while his owner's mum Helen received treatment for breast cancer.
A Glasgow rescue dog who sat outside a clinic while a family member received cancer treatment has been recognised by the Beatson.
40 year-old Chris rescued his two year-old pup from Protecting Preloved Border Collies after he was bounced from home to home. The energetic border collie now loves his forever home in the west end of Glasgow and enjoys getting muddy at Kelvingrove Park. Chris' mum is now doing well and has her annual check-ups at the Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre in Glasgow.
