ICYMI: Glasgow crash involving stolen car linked to vehicle theft in Edinburgh hours earlier.
The white Audi Q7 was stolen from Mossend Gardens, West Calder at around 4am on Tuesday, July 26. Around 5.50am, Glasgow police officers received a report of a crash involving the same vehicle and a parked car on Burnbrae Street, Springburn.
Detective Constable Adam Gow of CID in West Lothian said : “Our enquiries so far have revealed that a blue Audi Q series entered Mossend Gardens at around 4am, a man exited the vehicle, made his way into a property, stole the keys and made off with the white Audi Q7. Both vehicles left the area together.
“We are appealing to anyone who may information as to who stole the vehicle from West Calder, or who witnessed the crash in Glasgow to come forward.
