Glasgow Christmas light switch-on ballot opens 🎄🌟
The hugely popular event is returning for the first time since 2019 after being cancelled due to the covid pandemic for the past two years.
Taking place on Sunday, November 20 in George Square, the family-friendly event will start the countdown to Christmas.Glasgow Loves Christmas has warned that tickets are expected to be very popular and have urged people to put their name in the ballot to be in with a chance of attending. The ballot will close this Sunday, October 16 and 11.59pm.
The Glasgow City Council-run organisation announced the opening on social media, saying: "The ballot for Glasgow’s Christmas Lights Switch On tickets is open now!There is a maximum of six tickets available for each household that applies. To apply for tickets, visit the ballot here.
