A popular Glasgow brunch spot, Guid Egg, have today announced that they have closed 'effective immediately' due to the situation surrounding the cost of living crisis.
Guid Egg, located on Elderslie Place by Kelvingrove Park, near the main Five March restaurant, took to Instagram to announce the news but said not all is sad with the team teasing an "exciting" project to come.They wrote: "Dearest Guid Eggers. We are extremely sad to announce we will be closing our doors effective immediately in light of the current cost of living crisis.
Highly-revered Five March, based on Elderslie Street, was included in Glasgow's Top 50 restaurants list after opening in 2018 and is renowned for its excellent seasonal Scottish produce.
