Rudolphus Zijlmans died last month at the age of 53

Police Scotland were informed and it was confirmed that a A Fatal Accident Inquiry has ordered into his death while he was in custody. A statement from the SPS reads: "Rudolphus Zijlmans, 53, a prisoner at HMP Barlinnie has died on 3 June 2023. He was convicted at Edinburgh High Court in 2019. "Police Scotland have been advised and the matter reported to the Procurator Fiscal. A Fatal Accident Inquiry will be held in due course."
