Glasgow Airport security LOCKED DOWN by cops as passengers face huge queues and flight delays
The bomb squad, police and firefighters were called to the scene as the terminal was sealed off as a precaution.
Airport staff then evacuated the area with crowds of passengers gathering at the car park and drop-off point - wrapped in foil blankets to keep warm - as officers helped workers manage traffic.Police confirmed the item was deemed to pose no risk to the public and was “innocent in nature”.
