A three-year-old girl was attacked by a dog in Kirkby town centre.
A 31-year-old man from Ormskirk has been arrested and the dog, of which the breed has not yet been determined, has been seized. ‘We seized the dog at the scene, which will now be humanely destroyed, and extensive efforts are now underway to establish exactly what happened.
