Strictly Come Dancing star Giovanni Pernice was caught on camera whispering a message to former partner Amanda Abbington before kissing her during a romantic routine
BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Giovanni Pernice seemed to reveal his true feelings for partner Amanda Abbington before she left the show.
It was reported the pair had a disagreement during rehearsals, with the Sherlock actress being upset with her partner's 'aggressive' technique. But any rumours of a 'feud' seem to be put to rest by some kind words from Giovanni caught on camera. Giovanni was heard saying "beautiful" to Amanda as they danced the Foxtrot to the famous Fleetwood Mac song Everywhere, before pretending to kiss as part of the romantic routine.
She added: "I did not come to this decision easily or lightly but for personal reasons I am unable to continue. It was an absolute joy working with my fellow contestants, they are a beautiful, hardworking and talented group of people who I love and who I will miss seeing every Friday and Saturday and competing alongside."
One fan commented: "Such a pity but leaving Giovanni without a thank you doesn't seem right. He's always been kind and caring to his partners." Another added: "I think Amanda you have forgotten somebody there, what about a mention for your partner??"
