The pandemic saw a sharp rise in dog ownership across the UK
A recent survey conducted by Isle of Wight ferry operator Red Funnel has revealed that over half of dog owners enjoy their holiday more if they can take their dog along, and 1 in 8 would rather cancel their holidays if taking their dog isn't an option. The survey also revealed that a quarter of dog owners confess they can’t enjoy their time away if their dog is in doggy day care, and 1 in 8 dog owners have cut their holiday short due to worrying about their dog.
