Slaven Bilic discusses his squad and injury news as watfordfc prepare to face Millwall tomorrow
With only three days between the win over Norwich and the trip to Millwall, head coach Slaven Bilic is not expecting to have any additions to his squad tomorrow night.
“Gaspar is back in training,” said Bilic. “When it happened against Swansea we were expecting it to be worse, but he’s training again and we’ll see how he goes. Gosling has done well in that position though and that takes away some of the pressure.”Midfielder Tom Dele-Bashiru returned to action as a substitute at Millwall after a lengthy injury lay-off, but then wasn’t in the squad against Norwich
“If I was picking a squad based on mentality, determination and hard work then Hungbo would be in the First XI. He is a very good lad,” said Bilic. “In the last 10 days or so, since Blackpool, I have talked with Kalu a few times, he is training very well, and we can see in him something that makes us smile. He can beat players in a one v one, and the reason why he jumped over Joseph into the squad was he is showing us he can make a difference on the pitch.
