Gary Lineker has been called out by PETA for wearing garments containing mohair in his clothing collaboration with Next. The animal rights activist group claims it's obtained through ‘cruel and inhumane’ practices on Angora goats.

Campaigners from Peta called out Next for ‘profiteering’ off the material and methods they said were unjust towards animals. ‘The only next step is for the retailer to do the right thing: Denounce the extreme cruelty it is profiting from, remove mohair from all future collections and expand use of animal-friendly vegan material.’
