Darren, who appeared as Goatherd from Slavers Bay in the HBO hit series Game of Thrones, passed last week following a lengthy health battle.
His passing was announced by his agency, Carey Dodd Associates, who shared the sad news on Twitter, writing: "It is with deep sadness we have to tell you that our dear friend and client Darren Kent passed away peacefully on Friday. His parents and best friend by his side.Tributes have begun pouring in after the news of his passing spread on social media, with fellow actor Lee Mead writing: "Darren was an amazing human being and so special.
“He thoroughly enjoyed spending his time with us and performing for our students – especially when he used to sing for them! The Mushroom Theatre's Twitter account also paid tribute to the late actor, with a tweet which read: "So very very sad to hear about the passing of our patron @darrenpaulkent [heartbroken emoji]Screenwriter Ben Trebilcook, also paid tribute to the late actor, who had previously directed one of his own films. He wrote: "Love and thoughts to the friends and family of our talented, caring soul of a friend, Darren Kent, who sadly passed away on Friday.
