A teenage girl has sustained serious facial injuries which will require surgery during a night of disorder in Londonderry.
"These incidents will have been distressing for those involved, and will no doubt have a lasting impact," Det Sgt Nigel Goddard said. Bins, tyres and pallets were dragged onto roads in Galliagh and set on fire throughout the evening, police said.He was struck on the head before his car was set on fire.
