G4S van robbed at Glasgow McDonald's as suspect flees scene in black getaway car
Police are hunting a robber and their getaway driver who targeted a G4S cash-in-transit van near a busy McDonald’s restaurant in Glasgow.
Officers remain at the scene on London Road, Cambuslang, after being called to the car park at around 12.50pm on Monday, November 28. A cash case was stolen from the G4S employee, who was thankfully uninjured, before the thief fled the scene in a black coloured motor which was being driven by another man.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 12.50 pm on Monday, 28 November 2022, a G4S security man was robbed of a security case within a car park at McDonald’s, Westthorn Drive, Cambuslang, Glasgow. He was not injured.
