Two options for the ongoing management of a Wirral beach, which is turning into grassland, are to be considered by the council.
Vegetation on Hoylake beach is growing after Wirral Council stopped spraying chemicals and stopped raking the sands.Natural England said vegetation control will be "very targeted, tightly controlled and monitored".
