The child was found dead in Woking last Thursday.
Further tests are needed to establish the cause of death of a 10-year-old girl in Woking, police have confirmed.
Formal identification of the child has yet to take place but she has been named in reports as Sara Sharif. Detectives are looking to speak to three people who were known to the victim and who the PA news agency understands travelled to Pakistan on August 9, a day before the death was discovered.
