PSNI Chief Constable Simon Byrne has given an update in relation to the major data breach investigation.

Details released included the surname and first initial of every employee, their rank or grade, where they are based and the unit they work in. “I won’t go into detail for operational reasons but we are working round the clock to assess the risk and take measures to mitigate it.
