Liam McCracken told his family he thought he was 'going to die if he closed his eyes' after being dragged under bus
Friends of a young dad hit by a bus knew something had happened to him after he failed to turned up to a coaching session.
"He's the most reliable guy you will ever meet so we knew something was wrong. We started hearing about the bus crash and that's where Liam runs a lot, so we started putting two and two together. Phil said: "His mum said when he woke up he was asking if the bus driver and everyone on the bus was okay, his mum was saying 'never mind the bus driver, how about you'. He said when he was under the bus he thought if he fell asleep he was going to die, so he was awake the whole time and he kept saying his daughter's name.
Liam’s primary source of income is coaching and fighting, which are both on put on hold while he recovers.
