Fridges have been banned at the recycling centre after a man died in explosion
A Scots council has banned fridges and freezers at recycling centres after a fatal explosion in Perth on Tuesday.
Sadly a 46-year-old man died at the scene and another man, aged 41, was taken to Ninewells Hospital with serious injuries. They are asking residents to not bring these items to Household Waste Recycling Centres or request a special uplift.
