Five were injured altogether
Five people were hurt and four of them were treated for their injuries in hospital.
A spokesperson for the British Transport Police said:"Officers received a report that an escalator had malfunctioned at Argyle station shortly after 9am this morning."The Office of Road and Rail have been notified of the incident."
