Four children rushed to hospital in 'critical' condition after falling in Solihull lake
Four children received life support after falling into a lake near Birmingham, ambulance services have confirmed.
The children remain in critical condition after being rushed to hospital in cardiac arrest. Police say they are 'doing everything we can support all those involved'. Cameron McVittie, a tactical commander with West Midlands Ambulance, said: “On being rescued, the four children were taken under blue lights to hospital with an advanced care team.
He said: “When our firefighters arrived, a number of police officers and members of the public were in the water trying to reach and rescue the children.
