Plans to change former student accommodation in Hamilton into homes have been given the go-ahead by councillors.

The University of the West of Scotland used the site until 2018 and following the relocation of their campus, the building has mostly been vacant with only intermittent use by the Salvation Army to provide homeless accommodation,
