Watling Real Estate has sold a three storey former mill and ancillary accommodation in the Leeds suburb of Morley for an 'undisclosed amount' with planning permission to covert the building into 11 apartments.
The mill was sold freehold with vacant possession in its existing condition to a private investor and developer. Full planning permission was also granted in May 2014 for 7 one bedroom apartments, 4 two bedroom apartments and 10 parking spaces. “There was strong interest in the property in the end, culminating in robust competitive tension between competing interested parties.
“That said, Morley is an up-and-coming suburb and commuter town of Leeds given its good rail and road connections. The property is also centrally located, just off Morley’s main thoroughfare.”
