The garage closed 12 months ago, and there are now plans to tear it down so houses can be built in its place.
Shropshire Council has received a planning application which is for the demolition of the existing building based at Victoria Garage in Scotland Street, Ellesmere.
The design statement attached to the application says this would provide a sustainable form of development with a layout/design/materials which contribute to the character and setting of the town and respect the setting of the existing built development within in the immediate area.Originally a chapel the building was converted into a garage.
Other planning applications received by Shropshire Council include the conversion of a former chapel into dwelling at Ludlow Road Little Stretton Church Stretton.
