The former car showroom will be transformed
Plans for a new ‘state-of-the-art’ loft self-storage facility have been approved for a former car showroom, Portland Road, Hucknall.
The former car showroom, garage, and petrol station on Portland Road, will be transformed into a brand new storage facility, Loft Self Storage. The new facility will feature portable storage containers and storage units seamlessly integrated into the open areas of the site. Loft Self Storage will create local employment and by providing five to eight new job opportunities. The new business offers self-storage, office space and caravan storage.The business said it will will not only bring convenient storage solutions for the local people and businesses, but also help bring new life into the unused area.
“Job opportunities will be created in the local area along with bringing the old site back to life whilst still in keeping with the local area and surroundings. We can’t wait to get going and welcome the people of Hucknall and surrounding areas to this new and exciting project."
