The restaurant has been seized by the landlords
A Nottingham city centre restaurant has been seized by the landlords. A forfeiture notice from Parkinson Bailiff Services has gone up in the window of Amora Express in Long Row.
Amora Express specialised in Pakistani and Lebanese food, and had a huge vegan offering. According to one reviewer it served the best Lebanese shawarma in town, with another saying it was the best Lebanese restaurant in the UK. The menu included platters, mezze of hummus, falafel and soujok, a spicy lamb sausage. Main courses included marinated lamb cutlets, skewers of marinated meat and a dish called bammieh b'zeit, which is slow-cooked okra with tomato, onion and garlic.
