Manager Matthew Southern and supervisor Jamie Hart have both been jailed
Warehouse manager Matthew Southern, 31, and supervisor Jamie Hart, 34, organised the removal of numerous pallets of stocks into waiting lorries in Rochdale before they were sent off for onward sale.
Anonymous email led to pair's downfall Eleanor Gleeson, prosecuting, said that on February 21 2021, bosses received an anonymous email reporting that stock was going missing from the warehouse, based in Heywood. Southern said he was approached by Hart who offered him £400, ten ounces of cannabis and £350 worth of cocaine. He also said he was paid £4,000 in cash as payment.
