Thousands of England supporters were stranded outside the Stade Veledrome moments before kick-off.
The Stade Veledrome, which holds 67,000 people, had plenty of empty seats as the teams made their way out onto the pitch for the national anthems, with footage showing fans left in hefty queues minutes before the game got started. Thankfully, the queues started to move before kick-off with just a small number of fans still stuck outside as the game got underway.The scenes were reminiscent of Liverpool's Champions League final clash with Real Madrid in 2022 in which thousands of fans were held outside of the Stade De France by local police.
