Inflation recently skyrocketed to the highest rate in two decades
People in the UK are being warned of food becoming even more expensive to buy, as prices have hit a record high.
It's also a jump from 11.6 per cent in October, according to the latest BRC-NielsenIQ Shop Price Index. Shoppers are being warned of a "bleak" winter and dampened Christmas cheer because of the skyrocketing prices. She warned that Christmas gifting is also looking likely to put even more stress on families who are already struggling, as they will be forced to focus on getting food on the table.
