The Plant Room in Southport has been raided and goods stolen
A florist owner has hit out at the "scumbag" who broke into her store just 17 days after it opened. Tracy Jones says she is "gutted" to see her beloved shop The Plant Room raided, damaged and the till stolen.
The incident, which saw the front door smashed in, occurred at 12.30am this morning . Tracy issued a direct warning to the "low life" suspect in an emotional but defiant Facebook post.She wrote: " I will not be beaten down by the likes of you, although should you ever read this you will not even begin to understand the impact your actions have had this evening, gutted is an understatement.
"We will bounce back I’m just gutted it has happened in my first 17 days of trading I’m hoping the insurance covers costs as this wasn’t an expense I had budgeted for. Stay positive."
