Flight attendant reveals clothes you should never wear on a plane - and shares outfit tips
Dressing for the airport can be a challenge, as you need to put an outfit together that's not only comfy, but can also keep you warm on a chilly plane and cool in a stuffy airport. While a heavy coat might seem a good idea before take off, it could leave you sweating if you're heading to a sunny location.
But one flight attendant has explained why it's worth putting a bit more effort if you're hoping for an upgrade. Speaking to WhoWhatWear, the steward revealed that jeans and trainers are a big no no if you're eyeing up a fancier seat, while suggesting some better substitutions, the Mirror reports. "When we fly, we have a strict dress code to follow. No jeans or trainers - so I always go for tight black trousers and a blazer or a dress. For men, chinos or trousers and a shirt are worn." But don't worry, you won't be stuck in that uncomfortable blazer for the entire trip - as it's fine to change into something more snuggly once you've bagged your update and boarded.
Top Trending Stories Today While it's many people's favourite seat option, he warned that you should never learn on the window to fall asleep because you can't be sure if it has been cleaned or not, and you certainly don't know how many people have done the same before you. He said: “Do not fall asleep or lean your head on the window."
